A sci-fi melodrama, The Sewers takes place in a post-apocalyptic drawing room where a playwright conjures up a triangular shaped love tryst between his wife and her sister. A mysterious acid leak leaves their tiny one-room village hopelessly barren of children…yet their male midwife hovers over the proceedings expectantly. The Sewers is a perfect example of Banana Bag & Bodices unique brand of storytelling – heightened, visceral language explosively clashing with a visual landscape that will make your eyes water.
